Important Changes for Director ID’s (DINS)

From 1 July 2027, new laws will require companies to provide director IDs (DIN) to ASIC.

This requirement is added to the Corporations Act 2001.

If your personal details have changed since applying for your director ID (DIN), you can update them with ABRS and download a PDF copy of their details by visiting the Manage your director ID (DIN) Page https://www.abrs.gov.au/director…/manage-your-director-id

Over time, the companies register will display whether a company has provided director IDs (DIN) for its directors.
