Elliot Watson Named a Finalist for Two National Awards

Elliot has been named as a finalist in two national awards, solidifying him at the top of the financial planning profession. Being recognised as a finalist for these two prestigious awards is testament to Elliot’s commitment to excellence and client centric approach.

It has been an exciting year for Elliot and his team.  These nominations come quickly after being awarded Practice is the Year 2018.

AFA Adviser of the Year Award 2019

Elliot has been identified, for the second year in a row, as one of three finalists in the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) Adviser of the Year Award.

AFA CEO, Philip Kewin said the Award, which is now in its 16th year, recognises extraordinary and visionary individual advisers. “The Award celebrates the qualities of leadership, innovation, client-centricity and commitment to professional excellence. The finalists for this year’s Award have proven themselves to be true leaders of our profession.”

The lengthy judging process started with written applications and then telephone interviews from which the top five finalists were selected. Results from site visits, client surveys and compliance audits were collated to select the top three finalists. The finalists were then asked to participate in the finalist showcase on the 13^th August which involved a 15-minute presentation and a 30-minute Q&A session including a case study.

The winner of the AFA 2019 Adviser of the Year award will be announced on 29 August 2019 at the Gala Dinner held during the AFA Conference in Adelaide.

ifa Excellence Awards – Holistic Adviser of the Year

Elliot has also been announced as finalist in the Independent Financial Advisers (ifa) Excellence Awards for Holistic Adviser of the Year 2019.  As one of ten finalists, Elliot is being recognised amongst Australia’s leading independent financial advisers for providing comprehensive and holistic financial advice. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Friday 6 September in Sydney.
